Booking and Reservation Process
Rate
1. All rates are quoted in THB and are not inclusive of tax or service charge. Rates are subject to change. Tax on rates is 7%, the service charge is 10%.
2. Rates do not include baggage handling gratuities, telephone charges, meals, catering, cars and drivers or any other service, unless state otherwise.
Reservation
1. Upon receipt of a request confirmation of availability, the applicable villa rates and the amount of deposit required will be advised.
2. Booking are on a “first come first served” basis and are for a minimum of three (3) nights stay compulsory during the high season, otherwise stated.
Deposit and Payment
1. An initial deposit of one (1) night must be paid to confirm a booking, unless otherwise specified in the confirmation of availability.
2. If funds are not received within 5 banking days the reservation shall be deemed to have been cancelled and Azaya Villas Chiang Mai reserves the right to allocate the villa to another client
3. Should the booking be cancelled, cancellation charges will become payable in accordance with stated in no. (1) hereto.
4. Payment of the outstanding balance will be settled on the day of departure, unless otherwise specified in the confirmation of availability.
5. Deposit shall be made through international bank transfer, net of bank fee for the certain amount of deposit advised (bank account details will be advised) while the outstanding balance could be settled either by credit card settlement or cash payment upon departure date.
6. If the booking is confirmed within 14 days of the arrival date, the whole amount of the villa rental is to be paid at the time of booking. This is applicable for all seasons.
Cancellation and Amendment to Reservation
1. If it becomes necessary to cancel all or any part of the booking, it must be notified in writing (email acceptable.) The cancellation will take effect from the day the written confirmation is received.
2. The following cancellation charges will be applicable depending on when the notification of the cancellation is received in writing and the period of stay in the villas;
• Cancellation received within 14 days (for low season) and 21 days (for high season) prior to arrival as subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 1 night charge
• Cancellation received within 7 days (for low season) and 14 days (for high season) prior to arrival is subject to cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the entire booking/number of nights reserved
• Cancellation within 24 hours prior to arrival, no show and early check out are subject to 100% of the entire booking/number of nights reserved.
Property Liability
1. Azaya Villas Chiang Mai shall not be responsible for the loss or damage of guests’ property as following;
1.1 the loss or damage of property occurred, in any case, in the Azaya Villas’ property
1.2 if property as mentioned in clause 1.1 is considered in category of silver, gold, bank note, cheque, jewel or asset, Azaya Villas shall be responsible in the amount of money not more than baht 5,000 except hotel’s guest has left the property with the property with the hotel and informed the value of property accordingly.
2. The hotel shall not be responsible for the loss or damage caused by:
Force Majeure
Condition of that guest’s particular property
Guest’s own fault or entourage or the invited guest
Damages, Breakage or Losses
Guests are responsible for looking after the property, leaving it in good order and in a clean condition. Guests also undertake to pay for damages, breakage or losses they may be responsible for during the period of their stay. Azaya Villas Chiang Mai reserves the right to reclaim the hired property if the hirer, members of the guest party or guest visitors cause damage, disturbance to other guests, poor treatment of the staff or use and possession of drugs.
Responsibility
Please be advised that we are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal equipment and property during your stay with Azaya Villas Chiang Mai or during your participation in any activities during your visit to Chiang Mai. We will not accept responsibility for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience which may be caused directly or indirectly by events outside of our control such as late arrival of international flights, civil disturbances, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government, or the failure of any machinery or equipment.
Conduct & Behaviour
The person paying the deposit for the villa rental is responsible for the correct and appropriate behaviour of the guests staying at the villa(s). should any member of the party behave in a manner considered appropriate, Azaya Villas Chiang Mai may at the absolute discretion ask the offending guest or guests to vacate forthwith.
In such case, this will be treated as a cancellation of the original booking and no refund can be claimed from Azaya Vilas Chiang Mai property.
Linen & Towels
Linen and towels are provided in all villas. These are normally changed on daily basis unless guests wish to help supporting on Azaya Villas Chinag Mai’s Eco-Friendly Program by changing them less often during the stay. Limited laundry facilities exists on site. Charges are made per item and must be paid at the time of departure.
Valuables
Personal safe are provided in all villas. It is strongly recommended that they are used to store valuable items such as passports, laptop computers, cash, traveler cheques, mobile phones, cameras, etc.
Any valuables left at the property are the guest’s sole responsibility. Neither Azaya Villas management nor the owners nor the staff can be hold responsible for any loss or gamage of personal property.
It is advised for guest to ensure that all doors and windows remain locked at night to avoid any temptation.
Due Care and Supervision
As part of the agreement, guests are required to take due care when residing at the villas and be especially watchful of children playing in the gardens, near the entrance from the main road, near or in the pool or Jacuzzi.
Furthermore guests are not permitted to enter the villas when wet from swimming as the floors can be slippery. Damage or injury arising as result shall not be the responsibility of Azaya Villas Chiang Mai property, management personnel or villas owner in any way whatsoever.
Termination
Azaya Villas Chiang Mai reserves the right to immediately terminate the Rental Contract in the event the Hirer breaches one or more of the Terms and/or Conditions herein.
Agreement
I/We agree to the above conditions and do hereby agree to the application of the above Terms and Conditions to our reservation.
